The Six Swans
A visual narrative concept designed for an Australian Ballet production based on The Six Swans, a tragic fairy tale written by the Brothers Grimm.
A publication, a series of collateral and a set design were created for the ballet production. The photographic and illustrative components produced aimed to visually convey the narrative and melancholic tone of the fairytale through the designed outcomes.

Moodboard for overall tone and feel for the visual narrative
This moodboard represents the themes of 'transformation', 'pain', 'silence', and 'loneliness' as explored throughout the story. The visual language comprises of dark and moody photography; imagery of wings, feathers and hands; and dominant use of negative space.
